Board of Education sets millage rate, discusses back to school preparations
The Newton County Board of Education approved the millage rate of 15.75 and discussed back to school preparations during Tuesday’s meeting.
The previously proposed rate was to remain unchanged at 16 mills, which was the lowest that it had been in nearly 25 years.
