Students in the Alcovy Tiger Band at Alcovy High School are meeting this week to get ready for the start of the school year. Band camp lasts throughout the day, with both inside and outside training. This year, the band's theme is Soul'd Out, featuring the soul and funk music of Bill Chase, Bill Withers, Joe Cocker and Otis Reading.
