COVINGTON, Ga. – The Covington Police Department (CPD) responded to a report of a theft from a vehicle at Turner Lake Park Tuesday.

According to a CPD incident report, the vehicle was broken into while the victim was attending a ballgame. It was parked in the area where the county’s senior vans are parked. The victim’s black purse containing a Social Security card, ID, debit card and approximately $30 in cash was taken from the vehicle.

There are no suspects in the theft.
