NCSO seeks public's help in 'suspicious' disappearance

COVINGTON, Ga. - The Newton County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in a missing person's investigation of a Newton County woman. 

According to a NCSO news release, "Stacey Faye Nease disappeared under suspicious circumstances from her boyfriend's Newton County home Aug. 10, 2018. She did not take her purse, wallet, identification or medication."

According to the release, Nease has not been seen or heard from by family or friends since the day of her disappearance, which is out of character for her. 

"Family and friends state that it’s very much out of character for Ms. Nease to not contact them for an extended period of time," according to the release. 

Nease is described as a white female, 54 years old, 5-foot-9 inches, 140 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. She has a tattoo of a dolphin on her left calf and a rose on her ankle along wiht "Shilo" tattooed on her neck.
