Juvenile shoplifting suspects released to parents

COVINGTON, Ga. – The two juvenile shoplifting suspects detained by Covington police at Walmart Monday afternoon were released to their parents after being interviewed by the authorities, according to a Georgia Bureau of Investigation spokesperson.

The 11 and 15-year olds, along with 21-year-old Aaron Demonta Fleming were suspected of shoplifting at the Walmart at 10300 Industrial Blvd. Sept. 3.

The two teens were detained by police in the parking lot and escorted back to the store. The spokesperson said charges are expected.
