COVINGTON, Ga. – BD (Becton Dickinson and Company) has announced an agreement under which it will acquire C.R. Bard, Inc., according to an April 23 press release. Bard has a medical division facility in Covington, according to its website. According to the release, the combination of the two companies “will create a highly differentiated medical technology company uniquely positioned to improve both the process of care and the treatment of disease for patients and healthcare providers.”
