McDONOUGH, Ga. - State Representative Dale Rutledge qualified Monday for re-election.
"I am proud to announce, with the support of my family, friends, and many constituents, that I will seek re-election," Rutledge said. "The current legislative session is underway and my goals as your state representative have always been and will continue to be to support smaller limited government, lower taxes, less business regulation, and fiscally responsible spending of our tax dollars.
"I will continue to focus on these conservative principles through my work on the House committees of Regulated Industries, Transportation, Judiciary, Agriculture and Ways and Means.
"Our delegation is one of the best under the Gold Dome. Our teamwork will continue to make our state and local community one in which we all can thrive and enjoy working, playing, and raising families.
"I am thankful of the opportunity to serve as your representative and look forward to your continued support throughout the 2018 election campaign. "
The Republican Primary election is May 22.
