Coroner confirms cause, manner of death in Johnny Green case

COVINGTON, Ga. - The cause and manner of death have been determined for Johnny Green, whose body was found floating in Jackson Lake in November four days after he was reported missing, Newton County Coroner Tommy Davis told The Covington News earlier today. 

Davis said the cause of death was determined to be methamphetamine and ethanol toxicity. The manner of death was determined to be accidental. 

The cause and manner of death were determined by the Georgia Bureau of Investigations medical examiner's office.
