A man crashed his vehicle into a modular classroom at Indian Creek Middle School Tuesday morning.

According to Covington Police Detective Daniel Seals, a school resource officer was called to the classroom trailer and when he arrived he found 40-year-old James Anthony Robichaud in his vehicle. The man had reportedly hit a dumpster before striking the trailer.

When the officer made contact with Robichaud allegedly appeared disoriented and could not seem to tell the officer why he was at the school. After an investigation into the incident Robichaud was charged with operating a vehicle while under the influence of drugs and possession of marijuana.

Although three teachers were reportedly inside the classroom at the time of the incident, no one was injured.
