Merryvale will mark its 15th year with an all day celebration called "The-Proof-is-in-the-Pudding." Photographs, testimonials and other memorabilia representing the service and care provided over the past 15 years will be displayed throughout Merryvale.

On Wednesday, Nov. 2 at 8:30 a.m., Merryvale will begin the day by hosting the Newton County Chamber of Commerce Coffee Call. All members are welcome to stop in and visit with other members while enjoying coffee and breakfast pastries.

At 10 a.m. prospective residents will have the opportunity to meet the staff, tour the community, and also enter to win a Merryvale gift basket or a free weekend stay at Merryvale. If interested, guests may stay for a complimentary lunch and an assortment of puddings for dessert.

The afternoon will include a reception at 1 p.m. for Merryvale’s professional partners, such as physicians, home health personnel, and local pharmacies. They will also enjoy dessert and have an opportunity to tour the community.

Merryvale began with only 24 rooms in 1996, and has since expanded to accommodate 74 suites along with a library, media room, full service hair salon and bistro café. Adult daycare, respite care, and long/short-term care are all care options. Merryvale also includes Rose Lane, a memory care neighborhood. Situated on 14 acres, Merryvale provides the elegance of home in a quiet, pastoral setting.
