Brandon Gay, of Social Circle, passed away Feb. 13, 2014, at the age of 28. Brandon was a 2004 graduate of Eastside High, and was an avid Michigan Wolverines fan. He loved traveling, especially to Panama City Beach and Hawaii, and enjoyed snorkeling, scuba diving and other water sports. Brandon cherished his family dearly, and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Susan Ivey Gay; maternal grandfather, William David Ivey; and his paternal grandfather, William Saunders Gay.

Survivors include his parents, Steve and Belinda Gay; sister and brother-in-law, Amanda and Glenn McCullough, all of Social Circle; step-sister, Stephanie Trawick of Covington; maternal grandmother, Frances Miller Ivey; paternal grandmother, Marjorie Stevenson Gay; nephews, Bailey Blake, Mason McCullough; and many loving family members and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. Feb. 18 at Eastridge Community Church, 863 Highway 142 E, in Covington, with a reception following for everyone to spend time with the family.
