Mr. David Wayne Hayes, age 47, of Covington, passed away Monday, Jan. 30, 2017 at his home.

Mr. Hayes was born Aug. 14, 1969.  He was a very hard worker and always ready with a smile.  He enjoyed watching wrestling & horror movies, drinking coffee, eating Reeces and enjoyed fixing broken things.  Mr. Hayes was a loving and devoted husband, father and friend.  He was preceded in death by his father, James Joseph Hayes.

Survivors include his wife, Sandra Jane Harris Hayes; daughter Angel Hayes and James Blackburn; sons, David Hayes, Jr. and Joseph William Hayes; mother, Dolly Hayes; sisters, Susan & Bubba Wilbanks, Cathy Dukes and several nieces & nephews.
