Keisha Lance Bottoms is looking to do something that no Democrat has done since 2003: Become the Governor of Georgia. The former Atlanta city councilwoman and mayor visited Covington on Feb. 28 to be the keynote speaker at the “Blue Affair Breakfast Fundraiser” hosted by the Newton County Democratic Party. There, Bottoms shared her priorities and answered questions from constituents within her party.
