Newton County Theme School is looking for help from the community to win up to $50,000 by casting votes online at www.PowerABrightFuture.com. 

The contest, sponsored by The Clorox Company, helps fund new or ongoing programs. Voters can log on once a day to vote for the program they feel is most deserving of the grant. Voters can also text their vote to colrox5816to 44144. Supporters can also “like” NCTS PTO on Facebook to stay up to date with school information. Voting lasts through Dec. 9.

The program that receives the highest number of votes will be awarded the $50,000 grand-prize grant, and the next top vote-getters in the Play, Create and Explore categories respectively will each be awarded a $25,000 grant. Clorox’s judging panel, will select one additional lucky school to win a $25,000 judge’s choice grant. 

Newton County Theme School can be one of only five schools nationwide to win a grant.
