Elected officials and government staff in Social Circle and Walton County were continuing to work feverishly this week to find anyone in the state or federal government, or anywhere else, with concrete information about a draft proposal from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement identifying Social Circle as a potential location for an immigrant detention facility that could hold as many as 10,000 people.
