MANSFILED, Ga - A tornado made its way through Mansfield Monday afternoon leaving a trail of damage behind it. Damage can be seen at Hays Tractor and other buildings downtown. 

Roads surrounding the area have been closed and traffic is being detoured. According to Newton County E911, only residents of Mansfield and emergency crews are being allowed into the Town of Mansfield. Other traffic is being asked to take alternate routes.

According to Newton County Public Information Officer Bryan Fazio, no injuries were initially reported.
