Porterdale’s newest Post 4 council member, Bruce Carter, was officially sworn into office by Mayor Michael Patterson on Monday, Jan. 5. Carter assumes the seat after he defeated incumbent Jill Minnoia in a 75-73 vote during last November’s election.
