COVINGTON, Ga. — The Georgia Department of Transportation has approved lane closures for Pace Street, city officials said.
"We know everyone is ready for the Pace Street project to be complete (and so are we)," the city said on their Facebook page, "but progress often comes with inconveniences."
The ongoing construction will block drivers from turning onto Pace Street from U.S. Highway 278 for two days — Jan. 29 and Jan. 30 — during the hours of 9 a.m. and 4 p.m., according to GDOT. Drivers on Pace Street will have access to the main highway.
