COVINGTON, Ga. - The Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Covington has earned a 2019 Certificate of Excellence from TripAdvisor, which is the world’s largest travel site.

“Only about 10% of all businesses on TripAdvisor receive this special recognition,” Brittany Brearty, general manager of the hotel, said. “It is an honor that must be

earned with superb customer service – it cannot be bought – so we are very proud of our employees for consistently working at a level that deserves this distinction.”

To earn a TripAdvsior Certificate of Excellence, a hotel or restaurant must maintain an overall rating of at least four out of five in its customer reviews on the site for a period of 12 months.  TripAdvisor created this award nine years ago and announces winners once a year based on the millions of reviews and opinions it receives.

The Holiday Inn Express, which opened in May of 2017, is a six-floor, 110-room property that includes a business center; fitness center; outdoor swimming pool; an expansive outdoor patio; a 400-square-foot board room; and a 1,000-square-foot flexible space meeting room for special events.
