The Eastside Eagles varsity softball team saw its season come to an end on the road Wednesday night, falling in straight games to Heritage (Catoosa) 11-1 and 10-0 in the second round of the Georgia High School Assoication state playoffs. The Eagles reached the second round after defeating Redan in two games. The Eagles recorded three hits against Heritage in game one, with Molly Moon and Hayle Yates going 1-for-2 at the plate.
