A 22-year-old woman was found deceased in a truck crash discovered Saturday morning on Dogwood Drive.

The woman was identified as Tiffany Nicole Odom of Lithonia.

A Conyers police officer spotted the twisted, red 1999 Dodge Ram pickup truck in the woods next to Gibbs Garage and Bryant Street, between West Avenue and the Parker Road Bridge, around 8 a.m.

Georgia State Patrol Troopers were called to investigate the crash, which occured sometime overnight.

The truck had been traveling west on Dogwood Drive. It left the road, running through a mailbox, a culvert, going over the curb into the Gibbs Garage parking lot, and over the curb again, down the embankment and over rocks, through several trees, coming to rest on its top five or six car-lengths away from the curb.

Odom was partially ejected from the truck and died in the crash.

A blood test will determine if alcohol was a contributing factor.
