Three men suspected of robbing three teenagers at gunpoint near Park Circle and Andrews Drive Monday night were quickly apprehended and jailed on multiple charges.

The three victims, two males and one female, told authorities they were followed by the three suspects as they walked past the stop sign between Lakeview Drive and College Avenue around 11:45 p.m. Moments later the three suspects allegedly pulled a gun on the teenagers and took their cell phones and $150 in cash.

One victim said he recognized one of the suspects and asked him why he was robbing him since they know each other. The suspect, later identified as Raymond Menefee, 22, of Conyers, allegedly responded by saying "sometimes you just have to give up your stuff." Menefee then allegedly groped the female victim before the three suspects ran away from the scene.

Within minutes the three suspects were spotted near Rockdale Medical Center on Milstead Avenue, at which time Menefee ran into the woods to hide but was shortly arrested along with Corey Mosley, 17, of Conyers, and Xavia McClary, 20, also of Conyers. According to the arrest report, the three men were in possession of all items reported stolen by the victims.

Menefee, Mosley and McClary were each charged with three counts of armed robbery and three counts of aggravated assault.

Menefee was also charged with misdemeanor sexual battery for groping one victim, felony possession of a firearm during commission of certain crimes and felony possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. He was also charged with burglary in the 2nd degree after the gun, a 9mm pistol, was discovered in the woods where he was hiding and identified as a gun stolen from a vehicle parked outside a Kingston Road residence on April 4.
