Resurgens Orthopaedics - Georgia's largest orthopaedic practice - expands its services with the addition of orthopaedic hand, wrist, and upper extremity surgeon, Dr. Jane S. Tan.

Dr. Tan is currently seeing patients at Resurgens' Covington office (3211 Iris Drive).

Dr. Tan specializes in surgery of the hand, wrist, and upper extremities. She joins Resurgens with five years of experience and previously practiced in the Michigan area.

Dr. Jane S. Tan received her medical degree from University of Illinois at Chicago - College of Medicine in Rockford, Illinois and completed her residency at University of Michigan Health Systems in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Dr. Tan also completed a hand surgery fellowship at the University of Utah Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah. Additionally, Dr. Tan has a certificate of added qualification in surgery of the hand. She is an active member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, American Society for Surgery of the Hand, Ruth Jackson Orthopaedic Society, and Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. Dr. Tan is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and conversational in Spanish.
