Mrs. Lucy Bell Terrell was born May 27, 1943 to the late Mr. & Mrs. Jim (Rachel) Russell Sr. Her passion was cooking, babysitting, doing her word puzzle and loved sitting in her rocking chair on the porch, in the comfort of her children and grand children.

Lucy had love for God and going to church when she was able. She was a member of the S.O.S. Club in her earlier days where they helped out people in the community. At a young age,  she became a member of Greenwood Baptist Church, she later became a member of Popular Hill A.M.E. Church. She was also a member of the Women's Missionary Society.

She departed this earthly life on September 1, 2015. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Willie Terrell. Three daughters: Maryann, Linda and Marie. Two sisters: Mabel Weaver and Jennie Russell. Three brothers: Thomas, Guy Russell and Nal Bell, Jr.

She leaves to cherish her memories,  five daughters, Mr. & Mrs. Jessie (Susie) Daniels, Ms. Denise Terrell, Mr. & Mrs. Richard (Purcilla) Wood, Ms. Sandra Terrell, Ms. Diane Terrell, three sons, Mr.& Mrs. John (Gwen) Terrell, Mr.& Mrs. Stacey (Sandra) Terrell, Mr. & Mrs. Robert (Latoya) Terrell, twenty four grandchildren, twenty seven great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, five sisters, Ms. Louise Worthes, Ms. Johnnie Mae Vinson, Ms. Ethel Mae Russell, Mrs. Mamie Glover and  Ms. Emma Russell, one brother, Mr. Jim Russell, Jr., a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
