Mary Claude Webb, age 88, of Covington passed away Monday, December 27, 2016.  She was born September 28, 1928 in Hillsboro, GA to C.G. and Euel Henderson who have preceded her in death.  Mrs. Webb was a longtime member of Newborn United Methodist Church and currently a member of Covington First United Methodist Church.  She was a loving, caring mother who was devoted to her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Mrs. Webb was preceded in death by her sister, Sara Frances Henderson Tucker. 

She is survived by her children; Joseph Webb ( Mary) of East Ellijay, Georgia, Claudia Webb Minge (Ed) of Covington, Robert H. Webb (Dawn) of Iowa Falls, Iowa and John Webb (Kay) of Hendersonville, North Carolina along with 13 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren and numerous other family and close friends.

Funeral services for Mrs. Webb will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, December 30, 2016 at the Covington First United Methodist Church with Reverend Doctor Douglas Gilreath and Reverend Jan McCoy officiating.  Interment will follow at Newborn Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends at the church for 9 a.m. until 10 a.m. Friday prior to the service.  In lieu of flowers the family have ask that donations be made to Hands of Hope Ministries, PO Box 310 E.
