Jerry Wayne Deerman of Oxford, GA died Sunday November 20, 2011.  He was born on September 2, 1962 in Atlanta, GA to John and Shelby Hunter Deerman, Sr. He was a member and Director of Works of Golden Fleece Masonic Lodge #6 where he was currently serving as Junior Deacon.  He also was currently serving as District Deputy to the Grand Master of Masons in Georgia in the 8th Masonic District.  He was a Past Master of Pace Lodge #558 where he was active in all areas and especially enjoyed coaching. He was also involved in the York Rite bodies. He enjoyed cooking for family and friends.  He was a loving husband, father, son and brother. His grandchildren loved their PaPa.

 

Mr. Deerman is survived by wife Pam Deerman of Oxford, GA; children Brandi Deerman of Stockbridge, GA, Mandi Deerman of Stockbridge, GA, Brooke Deerman of Stockbridge, GA, Blake Deerman of Oxford, GA; parents John and Shelby Hunter Deerman, Sr. of Conyers, GA; brother and sister-in-law John and Trina Deerman Jr. of Conyers, GA; grandchildren Kristin, Elizabeth, Autumn, DJ, Cameron, Garrett, Caden; mother-in-law Patricia Livingston; father-in-law Gary and Betty Johnson; brothers-in-law Rod and Hollie Johnson, Adam and Misty Johnson, Wayne Lawson; several nieces and nephews; his special dog Allie. He is preceded in death by his brother Tony Deerman and sister-in-law Marsha Deerman.

 

Services will be held at 11:00AM on Wednesday November 23, 2011 in the Chapel of Wheeler Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Hammond and Rev. John Deerman Jr. officiating.  Interment will be in Salem United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, November 22, 2011 from 6:00-9:00PM.
