Janet Bell Williams, of Covington, died December 30, 2009, at Abbey Hospice, at the age of 64. Daughter of the late James F. and Ora B. Bell, she was a member of Oxford Baptist Church where she kept the church nursery and was in the Agape Sunday School Class. Ms. Williams enjoyed reading, cooking, and loved her dogs. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Charles (Susan) Eddins of Oxford; sons and daughters-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Benny (Kellye) Williams of Social Circle, Mr. and Mrs. Walter E. (Aimee) Williams, Jr. of Covington; ten grandchildren; one great-grandchild; sister and brother-in-law, Margaret and Melvin (Jody) Bates of Newborn; brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Robert (Bessie) Bell of Conyers; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Ms. Williams will be held on Saturday, January 2, 2010, at Oxford Baptist Church, with Rev. Sean Nix officiating and interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park.
