AUTRY Mrs. Cleo Autry, age 98 of Oxford, Georgia passed from this life and went to glory to be with her heavenly father Monday night, February 15, 2010.  Mrs. Autry was the widow of Charlie H. Autry, the daughter of William Henry and Myrtle Vestal Towns.  Mrs. Autry was born in Walton County on August 20, 1911.  She was a teacher in the Walton County school system and later retired from McGregor Sporting Goods in Covington where she and her husband lived after their marriage. Mrs. Autry was a faithful member of Mount Paran Primitive Baptist Church, always in attendance for 52 years. Survivors are daughter: Jean Swords (Donald); sons: Charles Autry (Carolyn), Gerald Autry (Nancy); grandchildren: Jeff Autry, Greg Autry, Deborah Autry Barrister, Rich Autry, Chris Autry, Mitch Autry, Don Swords,Jr., Keith Swords, Kenneth Swords and David Swords, all of which will serve as pallbearers; 24 great grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews; and sister-in-law: Mrs. Doris Autry. The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 18, 2010 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00PM.  Funeral services for Mrs. Autry will be held on Friday, February 19, 2010 at 11:00AM from Mt. Paran Primitive Baptist Church in Monroe. Interment will be in the church cemetery.  Elder Ronnie Loudermilk and Elder Gus Harter will officiate the services.  Friends may sign the online register book at www.wheelerfuneralhome.com.  Wheeler Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of the arrangements.(770) 786-7111
