On April 9, 1946, Brigitte Marie (Peggy) Hilz Hollingsworth was born in Germany where she spent her life through her youth.

On March 17, 1980, she was united in holy matrimony to Johnny Lewis Hollingsworth Jr., and to this wonderful union, one child, Sascha, was born. Preceding this union, she also bore a son from another marriage, Anthony. 

Upon her husband's return to Georgia from the U.S. military service, Mrs. Hollingsworth united with the Richards Chapel United Methodist Church where she faithfully served the Lord's people in whatever capacity she was called upon (Finance Committee, Usher Board, United Methodist Women).Mrs. Hollingsworth was a loving and caring wife, mother, aunt and friend. She worked as a human resources officer for Tyco Plastics for many years where she performed admirably.
Quietly on the morning of Dec. 24, Mrs. Hollingsworth departed this life to be with the Lord. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband Johnny, two sons Mr. Sascha (Rasheeda) Hollingsworth and Mr. Anthony (Maggie Smith; three grandchildren JaNia Hollingsworth, Jordan Smith and Braydon Smith, three step-grandchildren, Marius Alston, Brittany Carter and Brendon Carter; a beloved mother-in-law Mrs. Mattie Hollingsworth; three brothers-in-law Mr. Andre Hollingsworth, Mr. Michael Hollingsworth and Mr. Terrance (Rina) Hollingsworth; three sisters-in-law Mrs. Sandra (Dennis) Armstead, Mrs. Valencia (Charles Johnson and Mrs. Sonya (Ryan) Calloway, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and many other special friends whose lives she touched over the years.
