ATLANTA (AP) — Authorities say a construction worker has been injured by a falling piece of scaffolding at the Atlanta Falcons stadium construction site.

Atlanta police spokeswoman Kim Jones told WSB-TV that the worker suffered a severe head injury Wednesday morning.

Details on what caused the scaffolding to fall and the worker's condition weren't immediately available.
