GAINESVILLE, Ga. (AP) - A college student accused of making explosive devices as a hobby faces a court hearing on federal charges.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports (http://bit.ly/KP0m4q) that Celia Alchemy Savage of Cornelia was being held Thursday night in the Hall County jail on drugs, weapons and explosives charges. She's scheduled to be in court Friday in Gainesville.

Officers from agencies including the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and the FBI say they searched Savage's home Wednesday. U.S. District Court records indicate that explosive devices, firearms and suspected illegal drugs were found.

An ATF report says that Savage told an FBI agent she likes to blow up toilets in the woods, and that she's made pipe bombs as a hobby.

It wasn't known Friday morning whether Savage has an attorney.
