ATLANTA (AP) — Forecasters say a wintry mix of precipitation is possible across parts of north Georgia.
The National Weather Service says the mix of rain, sleet and snow is possible generally north of a line from Cedartown to Dahlonega.
The precipitation is expected late Tuesday night into Wednesday morning across the region, which includes the north Georgia mountains. Forecasters say roads in higher elevations could become slick.
Meanwhile, a blast of arctic air is expected across the entire state this week.
In metro Atlanta, lows by early Thursday morning are expected to be in the mid-20s.
In the Savannah area, Thursday morning lows are expected to dip into the high 30s.
