ATLANTA (AP) — Police say a homeowner shot and killed a man who was trying to rob a house.

11 Alive (http://on.11alive.com/1QxVQMD ) reports police were called out into the southwest Atlanta neighborhood early Sunday morning where shots had been fired. Officers say two men came into the house with guns. One of the robbery victims in the incident says he managed to wrestle a gun away from one of the robbers, then shot one several times.

Police say they found an unidentified man with serious gunshot wounds to the torso. He was sent to Grady Memorial Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

The incident is still under investigation and the other suspect is being sought.
