ATLANTA (AP) — State records show that one motorist has racked up 570 violations and owes more than $17,000 in tolls and fines on the Interstate 85 toll lanes in metro Atlanta.

CBS Atlanta, which obtained records from the State Road and Tollway Authority, reports that the top three violators all owe more than $15,000 (http://bit.ly/1tj2Dum ).

The station reports that all three motorists have Peach Passes, which are needed to use the lanes.

Bert Brantley, deputy executive director of the state agency, said Peach Pass holders can be fined for not updating their account information, using a broken transponder and by crossing the double white lines to exit or enter the lane.
