LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. (AP) — Police are investigating a shooting that took place inside a suburban Atlanta grocery store.

Lawrenceville police spokesman Greg Vaughn told WSB-TV that two people have been shot at a Kroger store Monday afternoon, and two persons of interest have been taken into custody.

Vaughn says the shooting stemmed from an altercation, but details on what sparked the altercation are unclear.

Vaughn says the two victims have been hospitalized and information on their conditions wasn't immediately available.
