SAVANNAH, Ga. (AP) — Savannah police are investigating after a 17-year-old boy was found shot to death inside a stolen car.
Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police say they're seeking witnesses to the shooting that killed Jamell Dwayne Law Saturday night.
Police say a red Dodge Neon had crashed on West 41st Street, where it had driven into the steps of a vacant house around 10:30 p.m. Saturday. They say the Neon had been reported stolen from a commercial burglary Thursday night.
Police say that several males were seen leaving the vehicle after the crash, and the neighborhood was crowded at the time. Authorities are hoping that some of those people in the area will come forward with information.
