SAVANNAH, Ga. (AP) — If you're planning to celebrate St. Patrick's Day in Savannah next month, City Hall is selling reserved parking spaces more than two weeks in advance of the sprawling festival and parade.
Savannah's Mobility and Parking Services department was scheduled to start taking reservations Tuesday for space in a city-operated parking lot and parking garage. City officials said more than 350 parking spaces were being set aside to be reserved for $20 daily.
Reserved parking will be up for grabs for the March 17 parade as well as the preceding weekend of March 14 and 15. The St. Patrick's Day holiday falls on a Tuesday this year, but Savannah is expecting thirsty crowds to start showing up the weekend before the parade.
