Red Cross in Atlanta is working closely with local and county officials responding to the fire and collapse of Interstate-85 Northbound in Atlanta. The event occurred in close proximity to the metro Atlanta office, and it is helping to provide staging space for emergency responders.

At this time, a Red Cross Emergency Response Vehicle (ERV) will provide water and snacks to support first responders. In addition, we have two ERV’s and local disaster action team volunteers on standby to provide support as needed.
