TEMPLE, Ga. (AP) — Police have identified two children and a father found shot to death in a suspected murder-suicide in Carroll County.

Authorities say 41-year-old Luis Garcia shot and killed his two children, 11-year-old Kayla and 13-year-old Daniel, before using the gun to kill himself.

Officers found the bodies Thursday in a home near Temple after the man's employer reported he hadn't been to work in a few days.

The boy's body was on a living room sofa and the girl's was in her bedroom. The man's body was in the master bedroom.

The man's estranged wife was out of state at the time. Police say she left home early last month after getting into an argument with the man.

Police say the three had been dead at least a day.
