Police: Dog deliberately put in hot car to die

ATLANTA (AP) — Atlanta police suspect someone put a Pit Bull in a hot car to die.

WXIA-TV reports (http://on.11alive.com/1LW11Sb ) that police are searching for two people they want to question in connection with the death of the dog last month.

The owner, Marlon Crutcher, said he tied the dog to his porch railing before leaving for work on June 17.

When Crutcher returned, the dog was dead inside an abandoned car. The windows on the car had been rolled up.
