KENNESAW, Ga. (AP) — An organizer of a new two-day country music festival says he hopes to draw 30,000 people each day to Kennesaw.

Organizers of the Shaky Boots Music Festival on Tuesday announced a lineup of artists including Blake Shelton, Brad Paisley, Rascal Flatts, Dierks Bentley, The Band Perry, Dwight Yoakam and Jason Isbell.

The event is planned for May 16-17 at the Kennesaw State University Sports and Entertainment Park.

Shaky Boots co-founder Tim Sweetwood tells The Marietta Daily Journal (http://bit.ly/1zTxdfh) that organizers chose the Kennesaw site because of its large size, its proximity to Atlanta and its accessibility to other areas. Sweetwood is also involved in the Shaky Knees Music Festival in Atlanta.
