SAVANNAH, Ga. (AP) — For the second time this year, police said a man accidentally shot himself while leaving a gun show in downtown Savannah.
Savannah-Chatham police spokesman Julian Miller said the man bought the gun at the show and was in a parking garage when he somehow shot himself in the leg on Sunday.
The Savannah Morning News reports that the man was treated for non-life-threatening injuries. His name wasn't released.
On Feb. 5, authorities said 26-year-old Charles Lake of Rincon was leaving the gun show at the Savannah Civic Center around 5:10 p.m. Sunday, when he discharged a round into his leg while re-loading his pistol.
Miller said at the time that Lake was re-loading the pistol in the parking lot.
