UPDATE: Industrial Park Blvd bridge work delayed
Industrial Park Blvd bridge lane closure upcoming near I-20

UPDATE (Feb. 8, 3:30 p.m.):  Due to wet conditions, Southeastern Site Development postponed the single lane closure at the State Route 142/Industrial Park Boulevard railroad bridge.

This work will happen the next two weeks as weather allows.

Travelers will experience some delays and could see backups to Interstate 20. Please be mindful of personnel and equipment moving close to travel lanes.

This progress is within the $13.6 million contract for 1.6 miles of widening and reconstruction for additional lanes on SR 142 beginning at Interstate 20 and extending to Alcovy Road.

COVINGTON, Ga. - Thursday and Friday Southeastern Site Development will be installing a single lane closure at the State Route (SR) 142/Industrial Park Boulevard railroad bridge.

This work coincides with grading activities and utility relocation that are also ongoing.
