ATLANTA (AP) — High winds followed by a surge of cold air this weekend are in store for Georgia as multiple cold fronts move across the South.

The National Weather Service issued a high wind advisory for Thursday in north and central Georgia, where winds are expected to gust up to 30 mph.

Forecasters say that by Sunday, wind chill values are expected to dip below zero in northern parts of the state.
