STONE MOUNTAIN, Ga. (AP) - Police are searching for suspects after one girl reported being dragged into the woods by a man in a black mask, and another girl at the same apartment complex near Atlanta said she was attacked in a separate incident.

DeKalb County Police are warning parents and their children who live along the North Hairston Road corridor to be on guard following the two attacks.

DeKalb police spokeswoman Mekka Parish said the most recent crime was around 8:30 p.m. Sunday, when a masked man grabbed a 9-year-old girl in the breezeway of her Stonebridge apartment complex. Police tell The Atlanta Journal-Constitution (http://bit.ly/yROY5r) the man dragged her into a wooded area, but she escaped by kicking and screaming.

Police say an 11-year-old girl fended off a man who accosted her Feb. 21.
