NORCROSS, Ga. (AP) - Gwinnett County fire investigators say a fire at a business in Gwinnett County was caused by arson.

Gwinnett County Fire and Emergency Services spokesman Capt. Tommy Rutledge says firefighters brought the fire at a shopping center on Jimmy Carter Boulevard in Norcross under control early Friday.

Rutledge says firefighters found heavy smoke pouring from the front of the business on arrival. No one was at the business when firefighters arrived and no injuries were reported. He says a sprinkler system helped put out the fire, and two other businesses received water damage.

Rutledge says the business is a courier service and merchandising store for Peruvian products.

Investigators say evidence of an incendiary device was found inside. Rutledge says a witness reported seeing someone throw an object through a window.
