FBI seeking publics assistance to ID four-time serial bank robber

ATLANTA – David J. LeValley, Special Agent in Charge, FBI Atlanta Field Office, requests the public’s assistance in its efforts to identify a metro Atlanta area serial bank robbery that has also struck in the Jacksonville, Florida area.

The robber, utilizing a demand note, has struck at four Wells Fargo bank branches, three in Atlanta metro area and one in Jacksonville Florida.  The robber is described as a black male, slim build and approximately 5'5"-5'7" in height.  In addition, he appears to wear a Nike (symbol) baseball cap in each of the robberies.  The following are the victim banks currently associated with this robber:

Dec. 9, 2016: Wells Fargo bank located at 293 Pharr Road NE, Atlanta, Georgia 30305. (Atlanta PD)

Dec. 24, 2016: Wells Fargo bank located at 6300 Roswell Road NE, Atlanta, Georgia 30328 . (Sandy Springs PD)

Dec. 29, 2016: Wells Fargo bank located at 1562 Atlantic Blvd., Jacksonville, Florida 32207. (Jacksonville, FL Sheriff’s Office)

April 11, 2017: Wells Fargo bank located at 2204 Peachtree Road, Atlanta, Georgia 30309. (Atlanta PD)

Wells Fargo has offered a reward of up to $5,000 in the matter.
