ATLANTA (AP) — Three groups, including Georgia State University, have submitted bids to acquire all or part of Turner Field, according to the recreation authority overseeing the sale and redevelopment of the ballpark.

The City of Atlanta and Fulton County Recreation Authority said in a news release Monday that Georgia State, Mercury Youth Organization, Inc. and Rita World Pearl Kingdom, LLC have all submitted proposals for redeveloping the 67-acre property that includes the current baseball stadium.

According to its website, Mercury Youth has sought to build an indoor track for year-round training in multiple sports.

Details about the Rita World organization are not immediately known.

The recreation authority didn't release how much of the property each entity hopes to acquire when the Atlanta Braves leave for Cobb County at the end of 2016.
