ATLANTA (AP) — An Atlanta Police officer has been arrested for driving under the influence.
News outlets report that a Georgia State Patrol trooper conducted traffic stops on two speeding vehicles around 3:30 a.m. on July 29, and conducted sobriety tests. Dennis Castro and the other driver both tested positive for the presence of alcohol and were arrested. The other driver has not been named.
Castro was taken to the Atlanta pretrial detention center. It's unclear if he has a lawyer.
