GRIFFIN - Authorities say they've charged a man with murder after his wife's body was found in the living room of their Spalding County home.

Vernon Young has been charged with malice murder, felony murder, aggravated assault, concealing a death and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.

The body of his wife, Olivia Young, was found in the living room of the home.

Spalding County sheriff's Capt. Tony Ranieri says deputies who went to the house found the body. Ranieri says she may have been dead for up to two weeks.
